The basics

Three things your group chat should already do.

1

Check him first

Run a registry and records check before you ever meet up. A name and a city is all it takes.

2

Watch out for each other

Share your live location with the friends you actually trust — and see theirs when it counts.

3

Spill the tea

Keep private notes on everyone you've checked and share what you find with your circle.

Protect

Know who you're meeting before you go.

Type in a first and last name — add a city if you have it — and Halo runs a registry and public-records check in seconds.

  • Sex-offender registry & records lookup
  • Optional screenshot upload for context
  • Results in under five seconds

Map & Date mode

Your circle, on a map, in real time.

See where your people are when it matters. Flip on Date mode and your trusted friends get a heads-up — plus a nudge if you don't check back in.

  • Live location sharing within your circle
  • Date mode with automatic check-ins
  • Optional always-on background location

Roster

Receipts you can actually find later.

Keep private notes and context on everyone you've checked. Ages, locations, the green flags, the red ones — all in one place, just for you.

  • Private notes & check history per person
  • Re-run a check in one tap
  • Archive anyone who's old news

Circles

The people you'd text at 2am.

Build a circle of friends you trust by username, email, or number. They see your location, you see theirs — and you control exactly who's in.

  • Add friends by username, email, or number
  • Approve every request, remove anytime
  • Granular privacy controls, always yours

How it works

From download to date night in minutes.

STEP 01

Make your circle

Invite the friends you trust most. They're the ones who'll have your back.

STEP 02

Check him

Run a registry and records check before the first date. Save it to your roster.

STEP 03

Turn on Date mode

Your circle sees where you are and gets pinged if you go quiet.

STEP 04

Spill the tea

Share what you learned so the next girl knows too.

Privacy first

Your safety shouldn't cost your privacy.

You control who sees you

Location is shared only inside your circle, only when you choose. Remove anyone, anytime.

Your roster is private

Notes you keep on people are yours alone — never sold, never shared without you.

Possible-match, not verdicts

Registry results are flagged as possible matches with clear disclaimers — you stay in the driver's seat.

A note from us

We built the app we wished we'd had on every first date — one the whole group chat would actually open. Safety should feel like your friends, not a panic button.

Questions

Good to know.

Core safety features — checks, circles, and location sharing — are free at launch. We'll always keep the essentials within reach.

Checks combine public sex-offender registry data and public records. Results are shown as possible matches with disclaimers — names can overlap, so they're a starting point, not a verdict.

Never. Checks and roster notes are completely private to you. No one is notified, ever.

Only the friends you've added to your circle and approved — and only when you've chosen to share. You can turn it off or remove someone at any time.

We're rolling out invites in waves. Join the waitlist and you'll be among the first to get in on iOS and Android.
